Tender description

The Framework Agreement is for the provision of Tar-Macadam Materials / Asphalt Materials for the use of proactive and reactive maintenance of the highway network within the City of Stoke-on-Trent on a delivery and collection basis. It will cover the collection of Asphalt material Lot1 — North area and Lot 2 – Central /South area) from the Supplier’s Depot and also the delivery of Asphalt material (Lot3) by the Supplier to the Council. It is intended to place up to 2 companies onto each Lot. The Supplier must own and operate a depot within 10 miles of the boundary of the administrative area of Stoke-on-Trent. This is due to the nature of the material, the allocated daily work schedule and the need to be able to respond in an emergency situation.
