Tender description

MES — Provision of bed frames, mattresses, cots and associated products, together with ancillary support and maintenance and services. Suppliers are asked to provide details of possible options to address the requirements of the Health Board in a full managed service equipment contract for Provision of electric profiling beds, mattresses, cots and associated products, together with ancillary support and maintenance and services in both the acute setting and Homecare setting. The Health Board currently would require any managed service contract to incorporate the maintenance and service of our owned bed frames, mattresses and cots and cushions. At a minimum we require the service, maintenance and support of these beds to be as specified in the technical specification. Specification. 1. As part of the total managed equipment service the service provider needs to detail how they would meet the Health Boards need to cater for frame and mattress requirements for specific specialist categories of patient. Categories of specialist patient are listed (but not limited to) the below across the Acute setting and the homecare setting: — Intensive care patients. — Bariatric patients across all areas. — Maternity patients. — Paediatric patients. — Specialist paedtratric patients. —Elderly patients. —EMI patients. —Mental health patients. —Coronary care patients. —A & E patients (including A & E trolleys). —Patients requiring pressure area care products.
