TP17/ 054 - BEGIN Social Innovation and Community Engagement

Tender description

Kent County Council is seeking an organisation(s) to undertake community engagement work across two communities, as part of the Blue Green Infrastructure and Social Innovation (BEGIN) project funded by the North Sea Region Interreg Programme. Over two year the project will facilitate the development of community or voluntary groups to demonstrate social innovation in the management and maintenance of Blue Green Infrastructure (BGI) projects. The key outputs of the work will be the evaluation of the projects and the development of a participation strategy which can be promoted across Kent and used as a case study to replicate in other urban settings affected by similar issues. This tender covers two years of the BEGIN project at the end of which the organisation(s) will be able to demonstrate participation in the project from a range of groups and individuals and continued support of the SuD schemes and their on-going maintenance and sustainability.
