Tender description

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) is tendering for the provision of housing-related support at a women’s refuge located in the County Borough of Wrexham. The scheme is currently in operation and is funded under the Supporting People programme, providing refuge-based support for up to 5 women and their children who are escaping from domestic abuse. The current Supporting People contract is due to expire and we are seeking to establish a new contract for the service. The scheme is currently in operation and is funded under the Supporting People programme, providing refuge-based support for up to 5 women and their children who are escaping from domestic abuse. The current Supporting People contract is due to expire and we are seeking to establish a new contract for the service. The refuge accommodation is provided by a Registered Social Landlord and the present Support Provider also acts as the Landlord’s Agent under a Management Agreement. The proposed new contract is for support only, and at the present time it is understood that the current Provider may potentially retain their housing management role as the Landlord’s Agent. Any new Support Provider will therefore need to enter into appropriate agreements with the Landlord and, if applicable, with the Landlord’s Agent.
