Tender description
This contract is for the management of the 2 household waste recycling centres (HWRCs) within the geographical boundary of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council. It also includes the removal of WEEE waste streams from the Council’s waste transfer station at Davyfield Road, Blackburn. The evaluation of bids placed a high emphasis upon customer service: the Council is looking for a contractor with this ethos at every level of their organisation, especially frontline.
