This framework is for the provision of scaffolding works to County Durham Housing Group, for an initial duration of 24 months, with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months. Scaffolds for housing based work are usually independent scaffold, examples of scaffold works for housing properties are likely to include: — Safe working platforms around single storey, garages and pitched/flat roof properties, — Roof edge protection, — Full height scaffold with one level boarded, — Full height scaffold fully boarded, — Single elevations and towers, — Access to dormer windows, — Access to chimney, stacks, gas flues and rainwater guttering, and — Access to peaks and hips.
