Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) relates to a preliminary market consultation exercise in advance of an anticipated framework for the supply and delivery of telecare equipment and associated ancillary products and services. The product list may include (but not limited to), provision of: Telecare (hardwired and non hard wired) base units; personal alarm trigger devices, wall mounted alarm triggers, alert devices/pagers; personal care/well being movement detectors and sensors, GPS devices, telecare mobile phones, environmental devices and key storage compartments. The framework may also be extended further to include real time lifestyle monitoring services, and GPS tracking services. Health and care peripherals, this could include and not limited to occupancy sensors, medication dispensers, epilepsy and enuresis sensors. Wall mounted equipment/compartments to securely store keys. Alarm trigger devices that connect to either a dispersed alarm unit (hard wired and non hard wired). Dispersed alarm units (non hard wired) that communicate with the receiving centre and connects with the relevant peripheral devices. Telecare peripheral devices and accessories. This could include sensors and movement detectors, alerting devices, batteries and pagers. Environmental device peripherals that connect to an alarm unit. This could include and is not limited to, flood, smoke, gas heat and extreme temperature detectors. GPS tracking devices and mobile phones specifically designed to promote independent living, and the associated monitoring services that compliment the use of the devices. Lifestyle/wellbeing monitoring devices to enable independent living and ensure ongoing wellbeing of people living in their own accommodation. This will also include the monitoring services that come with devices and equipment. Hard wired alarm units that communicate to ancillary peripherals and connect within a grouped housing scheme to a warden alarm receiving station. Alarm Receiving Centre software and hardware required to operate an Alarm Receiving Centre for monitoring and responding to telecare clients.
