Professional Services for the Design of External and Internal Improvement to the Bournemouth International Centre - Phase 1

Tender description

Bournemouth Borough Council in partnership with BHLive are proposing to carry out alterations and improvements to the Bournemouth International Centre, (BIC), aiming to modernise and improve the existing appearance to meet customer expectations, and to improve the facility generally to ensure it is a 21st Century conference and event facility. Fee proposals are being sought for Architectural and Quantity Surveying services up to RIBA stage 3, to preparation of a planning application. This will include setting the brief and completion of concept designs. The successful supplier will be expected to commence the works in March 2018 and provide sufficient resources to meet the following review dates. • Scheme optimisation review 1: 18th April 2018 • Scheme optimisation review 2: 11th May 2018 • Conclude scheme design: 29th May 1018 • Planning submission: 11th June 2018 • Design Guardian review (if required) to follow on up to completion at the end of March 2019
