Tender description

Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council (the Council) undertook this procurement exercise to establish a provider to deliver printing and related services. The procurement process was a competitive procedure with negotiation. This procurement process was selected because the contract could not be awarded without prior negotiation because of specific circumstances relating to the nature of the contract. In order to assist the process the Council set out its current position and its key requirements and outcomes, and its aspirations for the new contract in sufficient detail to enable potential providers to identify the nature and scope of the procurement and decide whether to request to participate in the process. The Council was seeking to negotiate a reasonable break clause within the duration of the contract. Please refer to the ITT document.
