N17 Pavement Surfacing Repairs Contract 2015

Tender description

This project involves pavement surfacing repair works to the N17 National Primary Road at three separate site locations in County Sligo: 1. N17 Tobercurry 2.N17 Tobertelly 3. N17 Rathscanlan The N17 Tobercurry site involves repair works to approximately 400m of the N17 National Primary Road at Tobercurry County Sligo. The works include road planing/cold milling/excavation from 400mm up to 1200mm deep to failed pavement sections, resurfacing using bituminous materials (asphaltic concrete, Cl942 etc), drainage, provision & replacement of concrete footways, utilty ducts, accommodation works, temporary structural supports to buildings, road lining and traffic management. The N17 Tobertelly site involves the overlay of approximatly 70m of the N17 National Primary Road at Tobertelly townland. The works includes pavement repairs, the regulating of the existing road surface with bituminous material and the placing of AC 20 dense binder course and Cl942 surfacing course. In addition the project includes coldmilling (including tie-ins and other areas), raising of verges, road lining, and traffic management. The N17 Rathscanlan site location involves the replacement of approximatly 270m of existing HRA wearing course on the N17 National Primary Road. The works includes cold milling of the existing surface to a depth of 45mm and the laying of a new HRA surfacing course. In addition the project includes, raising of verges, road lining, utility ducts and alteration to existing utility services, signage and traffic management.
