Tender description

Efficiency East Midlands Limited (EEM) is a procurement consortia which establishes and manages a range of Framework Agreements and Dynamic Purchasing Systems. Our members include Social Housing Providers, Local Authorities, Universities, NHS Trusts and regional Police Forces. EEM wishes to procure and enter into a dynamic purchasing system (DPS) with multiple contractors, for the provision of Passive Fire Protection and Fire Risk Assessment services. EEM is conducting this tender exercise on behalf of its Contracting Authorities to appoint a FIRAS registered, fully independent specialist to establish a DPS for Passive Fire Protection and Fire Risk Assessment services. The Contractor shall have a wealth of experience in Passive Fire Protection and emergency evacuation and fire strategies to assist EEM Contracting Authorities with their specific Passive Fire Protection and Fire Risk Assessment project delivery as required. For the duration of the DPS, the Contractor will be expected to carry out the following: — Passive Fire Protection strategy and advice, — Fire Risk Assessments and recommendations for improved practices, — Escape route surveys, — Compartmentation projects, — CDM Duties, — Expert Witness Advice. The DPS is being procured by Efficiency East Midlands Limited (“EEM”) on behalf of their members and the other organisations described as being Authorised Users.
