This is a Prior Information Notice published to advertise an early market engagement event. A call for competition will be made later, following business case approval. The programme will contribute to building a stronger more resilient health system, able to deliver quality services to all Ghanaians, and prevent and respond to national and global health security concerns, including anti-microbial resistance. It will also support Ghana’s national efforts to increase the access to use of mental health services. The service provider for this contract will oversee the entire programme delivery, including delivering technical assistance to Government and on the mental health component. The service provide will be expected to collate relevant information from partners with direct agreements with DFID in order to give DFID regular updates on progress of the overall programme implementation. The Department for International Development (DFID) Ghana is in the design phase of a new programme. The programme will contribute to building a stronger more resilient health system, able to deliver quality services to all Ghanaians, and prevent and respond to national and global health security concerns, including anti-microbial resistance. It will also support Ghana’s national efforts to increase the access to use of mental health services. The service provider for this contract will oversee the entire programme delivery, including delivering technical assistance to Government and on the mental health component. Description of Event: Through an Early Market Engagement (EME), DFID Ghana aims to assess seek feedback from potential suppliers on the proposed approach, determine the interest and capability of potential suppliers/partners in participating and bidding for this work. The EME process is intended to promote a transparent dialogue between DFID and interested parties on approaches to improve equitable access to family planning, ensure the sustainability of family planning services, achieve value for money, harness innovation and capitalise on opportunities for collaboration amongst partners. To register your interest in attending the Early Market Engagement Event, complete the survey questions here — https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/NGHV9NS — by the Registration Deadline, which is: — a maximum of 2 attendees per organisation may attend. Each attendee should complete the survey individually in order to comply with DFID security policy, — should attendee details change after the survey response has been submitted, it is still possible to return to the response originally submitted and edit attendee details. In such cases, the attendee to be replaced should complete the changes, to ensure the correct record is amended. Places will be confirmed by return email after the Registration Deadline. Confirmation will be sent to the email address submitted when responding to the survey. DFID is collecting responses to a number of questions regarding programme approach. A response is required for each question in order to submit your completed survey. All responses are strictly confidential and will only be used for strengthening DFID’s programming approach.
