Tender description

The programme will enable governments, civil society and investors to revolutionise their use of extractives data from transparency initiatives for accountability and improved policy-making (USEDATA). This programme will be awarded to the supplier via an Accountable grant and not through a contract. the programme service provider will (i) drive innovation to turn the increased volume of complex data flowing from extractives transparency initiatives and other information sources into more user-friendly formats that can be successfully piloted in 5 countries and possibly taken to scale (ii) work in partnership with other practitioners, DFID country offices, citizens including marginalised groups, women and girls, investors and governments to identify the needs of data users and (iii) build capacity of users to interpret data and use it for policy design, advocacy and reform.
