Tender description

Pre-Market Engagement for Facilities Management Initiative. Translink has recently reviewed its procurement strategy for soft facilities management and support service requirements. It is intended that a consolidated Facilities Management contract be established with the aim of identifying efficiencies across the Translink Group with the aim of achieving the following — Delivery of efficient and effective responsive services. — Delivery of significant cost savings. Flexibility to meeting individual business needs and changing requirements. KPI performance monitoring — a vital aspect of ensuring that FM works efficiently. The proposed soft FM areas for inclusion in this contract are: 1) Cleaning Services — approx. annual value 560 000 GBP; 2) Catering (single café unit) — Revenue contract; 3) Vending Services — Revenue contract; 4) Washroom and Hygiene Services — 250 000 GBP; 5) Forensic Cleaning Services (bus and rail) 35 000 GBP; 6) Pest Control Services 65 000 GBP; 7) Salting Services 65 000 GBP. It is anticipated that this contract will commence on 1.4.2019. Before embarking on a tender process, we wish to engage with the market place to gather intelligence which will inform the sourcing strategy for this contract and thus, the procurement process. We are therefore seeking to engage with experienced (soft) facilities management providers, which are capable of fulfilling all of the requirements listed above.
