Tender description

Leeds City Council are installing an empty telecoms duct as part of the construction of the District Heating Network (DHN) being installed across the city. This empty duct is to be made available to the telecoms market to manage and operate on an open access basis to enable the installation of fibre cables and provide digital services to customers across Leeds. In return the council are looking as minimum to cover the installation cost of the ducting, but with the aim of maximising the return from the investment. The successful organisation will be required to maximise the use of the ducting and provide superfast broadband connectivity to customers. Keywords: Telecom, district heating
