Cork County Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced, multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineer to prepare the necessary designs, planning documents, land acquisition/wayleave documentation, construction tender documents, provide contract administration and site supervision and as project supervisor design stage (PSDP) services to implement a number of infrastructure projects in Water-Rock urban expansion area in Midleton, Co. Cork County Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced, multi-disciplinary Consulting Engineer to prepare the necessary designs, planning documents, land acquisition/wayleave documentation, construction tender documents, provide contract administration and site supervision and as project supervisor design stage (PSDP) services to implement a number of infrastructure projects in Water-Rock urban expansion area in Midleton, Co. Cork. The principal infrastructure to be designed/procured under this project includes the following seven elements: 1. New Services Corridor Link Road from the Midleton Northern Relief Road to Water-Rock Road. 2. New Mains surface water drainage sewer/system (for UEA) is to be provided between both the footprint of the services corridor link road (also the existing Water Rock Road) and appropriate outfall(s) and SUDs Strategy Report 3. Cork Road/Midleton Northern Relief Road Junction Upgrade Works involving lane reassignment traffic related improvement measure. 4. Vehicular Traffic Management/Road Works Measures along the Water Rock Road (from the UEA to its junction with the N25) to avoid/eliminate any increase in traffic using the Water Rock Road/N25 junction and the associated turning movements. 5. New Services Corridor Link Road Extension to land South of the Railway including Grade Separated Crossing of Railway (detail design and land/wayleave acquisition only), 6. New Water Rock Railway Stop and Access (detail design and land/wayleave acquisition only), 7. Water Rock Road Realignment and Improvement Scheme (detail design and land/wayleave acquisition only).
