Testing, Operational Readiness and Risk Management Approach

Tender description

The Office for National Statistics (the Contracting Authority) requires specific external support building on work completed by ONS to date on Testing, operational readiness support and risk management. This is a 5 week requirement, commencing 26 Feb 2018 and concluding 29 March 2018. The requirement is for: • Support in further defining the Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) approval and wider Programme test strategy and associated accountability; • Support in formalising risk management and risk mapping. Outputs by end March 2018: 1. ORT approach and tools: • Refined ORT approach document; • High level analysis of testing management tool needs 2. Programme test accountability and strategy: • High level guidelines for programme test strategy; • Findings of the programme test accountability review 3. Risk management and contingency planning: • Draft mapping of risks to existing value chains; • Formalised risk assessment criteria.
