Tender description

The provision of a passenger compensation scheme to meet the requirements for the national UK Rail Delay Repay scheme. Delay Repay is a UK rail national scheme for train companies to utilise for the payment of compensation to passengers for unforeseen delay and/or cancellations. First Greater Western Ltd (t/a Great Western Railway) is seeking expressions of interest from potential suppliers for solutions to introduce Delay Repay to replace its current compensation scheme in accordance with its passenger charter requirements. It is expected that any potential solution for Delay Repay shall: 1) Be fully tested and implemented by October 2018 for Delay Repay 30. 2) Include capability to implement Delay Repay 15. 3) Integrate with current systems and processes in relation to customer contact and any other future identified internal and external systems. 4) Include business rules and access to various data sources for information on GWR and other Train Operating Company train services. 5) Include fraud detection and management capability. 6) Include capability for payment integration via various channels. 7) Include ongoing hosting, maintenance, support and any technology updates/refresh required.
