Tender description
Accommodation based services for people at risk of violence and abuse provide a place of safety in which victims and their dependent children can access emotional and practical support to enable them to move on to independent living free from the fear of abuse. Community support and advocacy services for people at risk of violence provide emotional and practical support to victims living in the community who are assessed as at standard, medium or high risk to de-escalate their risk and move on to independent living free from the fear of abuse. The contract will be separated into three lots: — Accommodation based services for people at risk of violence and abuse including those with complex needs or from BME backgrounds. — Community support for people at risk of violence and abuse. — Accommodation and community support for male victims of violence and abuse. This service is a combination of refuge accommodation with appropriate levels of support, information advice and guidance. The service will also manage a 24-hour helpline for women and work in partnership with the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, Domestic Violence Forum, Police and other agencies to deliver a single referral pathway. A single referral pathway will be maintained and coordinated by the Provider, with a view to this being reviewed by partners to ensure referrals are received and managed in the most effective way across all elements of the pathway. This pathway includes existing services in the community and any new or emerging community and wrap around services. The Community Support Service will support women who are victims of domestic violence and abuse by providing practical information, advice and support to women in the community who are transitioning or exiting from move on refuge provision, or women living within their own homes. The Community Support Service will support men who are victims of domestic violence and abuse by providing practical information, advice and support to men in the community who are transitioning or exiting from emergency accommodation, or men living within their own homes.
