Tender description

Perth and Kinross Council is seeking a contractor to receive delivery of inert (non-reactive) waste, and then to screen, crush and subsequently recycle the inert waste. Inert waste mainly comprises uncontaminated non-reactive material, including but not limited to a mix of: brick, stone, gravel, rubble, hardcore, concrete, clay, sand, soil, tiles, glass, crockery and ceramics. The inert waste arises from commercial waste customers and householders from hired out skips and from 8 of our 9 Recycling Centres. It is intended that Perth and Kinross Council will haul the inert waste. It is intended that the contract will last for 2 years with 2 x 1 year extension options available. We ask prospective bidders to respond with any questions through the Public Contract Scotland portal by 13.4.2018. The tender process will be carried out through the Public Contracts Scotland Tender portal, which all bidders must be registered on so as to bid for this tender.
