Tender description

Low Level Waste Repository (LLWR) Limited and Dounreay Site Restoration Limited (DSRL) intend to procure contracts for the supply of Cementitious Powders for use in the encapsulation of Low Level Waste (LLW). The requirements are being tendered as separate Lots: Lot 1 – Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) and Lots 2 - Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA), which must be supplied in accordance with LLWR and DSRL specifications. The Contracting Authorities (LLWR and DSRL) require the supply of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) for the encapsulation process for Low Level Waste (LLW) which must be supplied in accordance with the Contracting Authorities’ specifications contained in the tender documents. All goods must be supplied with certificates of conformance against the required specifications. The estimated volumes that will be ordered during the contract period are contained in the tender documents. The Contracting Authorities (LLWR and DSRL) require the supply of Pulverised Fuel Ash (PFA) for the encapsulation process for Low Level Waste (LLW) which must be supplied in accordance with the Contracting Authorities’ specifications contained in the tender documents. All goods must be supplied with certificates of conformance against the required specifications.
