Tender description
The Project 14-18 NOW's final major commission will take place on Remembrance Sunday, 11 November 2018. Film director Danny Boyle will invite people across the UK to join together in a national moment commemorating the centenary of Armistice. It is envisaged that the project will be delivered by a UK-wide partnership of c25 arts organisations. www.1418now.org.uk/commissions/armistice/ Our brief 14-18 NOW is looking for experienced outdoor and/or participative arts producers to support the c25 arts organisations around the UK who will deliver the project in their regions. Reporting to the project's Executive Producer, the producers will: • develop an excellent understanding of Danny Boyle's vision, the aims and objectives of the project, its targets and deliverables including its community engagement targets, the project producing structure and procedures, its marketing and communications strategy and plans, and its evaluation • undertake on the ground exploration of prospective partners and locations, and build the project network • contract partners • support partners in all areas of the project, helping ensure the project's successful delivery at every location • ensure the gathering of data and reporting at all project stages The contract will require travel widely across the UK. Travel expenses will be covered in addition to the fee, in line with 14-18 NOW's standard expense policies. The contract will run from May 1 to November 30 2018. The producers will provide their own workspace, and 14-18 NOW will provide meeting rooms as required.
