Prior Information Notice for the Supply of Unlicensed “Special” and Imported Unlicensed Medicinal Products to NHS and Healthcare organisations within the Peninsula Purchasing and Supply Alliance (PPSA) and parts of the South West of England. The contract/framework may be split into the following lots: Lot 1: Unlicensed batch “Specials” with Certificate of Analysis (CoA). Lot 2: Unlicensed batch “Specials” with Certificate of Conformity (CoC). Lot 3: Imported Unlicensed Medicinal Products. Lot 1 may be for the supply of unlicensed UK special medicines manufactured under a Specials Licence or under a full MIA licence within the UK. A certificate of analysis is required for each product. Tendered and for each batch of product supplied as part of the contract. The final approach to market has not been agreed and we are currently exploring options. Estimated total initial contract value for Lot 1 to be between 1 500 000 and 3 000 000 GBP excluding VAT. Lot 2 may be for the supply of unlicensed special medicines manufactured under a Specials Licence or under a full MIA licence within the UK. A CoC is required for each product tendered and each batch of product supplied as part of the contract. This lot may be for a small minority of products where a certificate of analysis is not appropriate and will represent very few products in this procurement. he final approach to market has not been agreed. Lot 3 may be for the supply of Imported Unlicensed medicines. These are medicines originating into the UK which have marketing authorisation and are licensed in the country of origin but do not have UK Marketing authorisation. The Contractor must comply with MHRA import legislation. The approach to market has not been agreed and we are currently exploring options. Estimated total initial contract value for Lot 3 to be between 600 000 and 1 500 000 GBP ex VAT.
