Summary of the work Data Quality, Compliance and Security. Performance Management Framework Data Management Services to Partners We will onboard other partners to Dynamics 365 and provide more responsive and predictive approaches that enables their business operations in line with Microsoft’s roadmap of supported features. We are currently on Microsoft Dynamics 365 v8.2 Specialist role Developer Expected Contract Length This will be a 6 month contract with the option to extend for 2, 3 month periods Latest start date Monday 9 April 2018 Maximum Day Rate £600 Who Speclialist Work With Working within an Agile service design, delivery and support team of circa 30 people responsible for digital transformation activities across the organisation. It’s a multidisciplinary team with software developers, testers, designers, user researchers, Dynamics developers, service designers and product owners. The Dynamics developer will work closely with all of the team as well as the users of the Dynamics 365 system across the business. What Specialists Work On Data Quality, Compliance and Security - We will be delivering new practices to significantly reduce (eliminate) data quality issues entering Dynamics 365, address existing data quality problems (duplicate data), configuring a pre-production environment with cleansed data, implement a monitoring approach to validate that users are complying with policies and to systematically detect erroneous and suspicious data usage behavior. An element of remote working is acceptable as long as evidence of previous successful delivery via remote working is provided in the submission as long as suitable conditions are in place allowing constant communication with the team (high speed broadband, high spec kit, ability to connect to skype meetings etc.) as long as there is flexibility to attend face to face meetings when required with suitable notice. Standard working hours 9-5 Mon-Fri. This role is outwith IR35. Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard level clearance is required for this role. Its says this role is 'outwith IR35' - Can you clarify what this means? When completing the HMRC tool for this role the outcome of the assessment was that this role falls outwith the IR35 Legislation. "The intermediaries legislation doesn't apply to this engagement." 2. How many days in the week would the candidate be expected to work in the Glasgow office? Should we provide suitable evidence of successful delivery of a task remotely. We would have a preference for someone who could be on site as much as possible as the role is imbedded in a fast moving agile delivery team. If remote working is something you would like to do then yes you will need to evidence successful delivery of tasks remotely. 3. How are you going to differentiate between the two different roles during shortlisting and evaluation? With other similar situations on DOS, the opportunity title is, for example, "Developer 1", and "Developer 2". Each role is being procured separately, although with the same titles and will be evaluated separately in accordance with the criteria online and only those submissions received for each of the individual roles will be evaluated against those roles. 4. None of the skills and experience criteria actually mentions Dynamics 365. Should we regard all the criteria requires experience with Dynamics 365? e.g., Dynamics 365 Form Design, Dynamics 365 Business Rules Development, etc. Or, is experience with other CRM systems acceptable? As you will see from the ad/role title, we are looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer and the skills and experience should reflect any candidates skills and experience relating to this system. 5. Does Scottish Enterprise have an incumbent supplier providing Microsoft Dynamics developers? These are new roles and therefore we don't have an incumbent supplier for these. 6. In reply to, "Each role is being procured separately, although with the same titles and will be evaluated separately in accordance with the criteria online and only those submissions received for each of the individual roles will be evaluated against those roles." From previous experience with DOS, when titles are identical, after shortlisting, it gets very confusing about which specialist has been put forward for which role and at what day rate. We would suggest, if possible, changing the title to ".... 1" and "... 2" to avoid confusion. Many other buyers on DOS are doing that now. I have tried to do so, unfortunately I am unable to. 7. Does Scottish Enterprise have an incumbent supplier providing Microsoft Dynamics developers for existing/other roles? We do have a supplier providing Microsoft Developers but as this role is new we don't have an incumbent supplier.
