Tender description

Fabrication, pipework and installation work for segregated mechanical packages within a larger solution. Assemble packages through components manufactured by nominated contractors, client free issued products or other manufacturer sources. On site or off-site assembly. Fabrication, assembly, non-destructive/factory testing, delivery to site, offloading, installation and commissioning of mechanical works which include general fabrications (platforms, walkways, stairways, hand railings etc.), stainless and carbon steel pipework (fabricated flanged pipework), lifting equipment (davits, slewing jobs, monorails etc.) and general mechanical installations (plastic pipe work systems, mechanical plant, water industry equipment etc.). There will also be elements of design around fabrication and pipework required. Fabrication, pipework and installation work for segregated packages within a larger solution. Design work of fabrication and pipework required based on clients scope, standard solutions and products. Assemble packages through client free issued products or other standard products. On site or off site package assembly (off site includes complete package assembly with delivery on a temporary base). Delivery to site in the appropriate/adequate packaging requirements including offloading. On site general fabrication work to install final package (including pipework, platforms, walkways, landings, stairways, hand railings, open mesh flooring, pipe supports and thrust restraints, general structural steelwork and structures)Mechanical installation of plastic pipe work systems and mechanical plant/equipment typically used in the water industry (for example, but not limited to, large and small pressure vessels, chemical dosing plants, ultra violet treatment, inlet screens, pumped systems) such equipment to either be supplied via DCC’s nominated framework provider or free issued as agreed. Fabricated flanged pipe work with materials typically used in the water industry for both clean water and sewerage applications. Fabricated flanged pipe work in stainless steel.
