Invitation to Tender the Refurbishment of Windows, Doors, Stonework, Roof and Guttering System at Compton House, Moreton in Marsh

Compton House is located on the High Street, Moreton in the Marsh, Gloucestershire GL56 0AX. Cotswold District Council ("Contracting Authority") is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to refurbish windows, door, stonework, roof and guttering system to front elevation of Compton House to ensure a hard wearing and weather-proof finish whilst maintaining the original character and features of this listed property. It has been identified that woodwork to the front elevation is badly rotted in places, that there is extensive wear to stonework and pointing, damage to chimneys and parapet walls and decorative works required to all fenestration. Investigative works are required to ascertain the full extent of repairs required to the roof with a small section to the front left hand side elevation identified from a visual inspection.
