Tender description

The London Borough of Bromley is seeking to establish 12 residential block bed placements with providers, which have a minimum Ofsted rating of “Good”, for children and young people aged between 13-17 years of age. The beds are to be within 20 miles of the London Borough of Bromley’s boarder. Providers can bid for a minimum of one bed and a maximum of twelve as long as the beds are spread across more than one location. The tender opportunity will be run through the London Tenders Procurement Portal and you will need to register your company with the portal as soon as possible (if you have not already done so) at www.londontenders.org to ensure that you are able to access and submit the relevant documents online. The Provider(s) will be expected to work with community partners, the Local Police and Safeguarding Boards and other agencies to always promote a team around the child to promote better outcomes. All staff who work within the homes will be recruited in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines and undergo a rigorous training programme. The Provider(s), will ensure they meet all nine Quality Standards contained within the Children’s Home Regulations to help young people achieve better outcomes and will ensure Statutory Requirements and Legislation around providing care for looked after children are met, as identified within the Specification.
