Greater London Investment Fund – supported by European Regional Development Fund – Fund Managers

Tender description

Funding London (the Authority) is seeking FCA-authorised fund management organisations to enter into Limited Partnership Agreements (LPA) in order to manage and invest the capital of a new £100m Fund of Funds that will be invested in four sub-funds: Fund 1 - £45m Early Stage Venture and Circular Economy Fund. Fund 2 - £25m Smaller Loan Fund for Established SMEs. Fund 3 - £25m Larger Loan Fund for Established SMEs. Fund 4 - £5m Micro Loan fund. Fund manager organisations can submit tenders to manage one or more of the sub-funds. There is no limit to the number of awards that can be made to any one fund manager organisation. The duration of each LPA will be ten years (the life of the Fund), with an option to extend for a further year, with the agreement of the Authority. There will be an investment period which will begin on final close of the fund and which will terminate by 31 December 2023.
