Financial Capability in Financial Services: A landscape review

Tender description

The Money Advice Service wants to commission an agency to work on a multi stage project which will examine the position and landscape of Financial Capability with Financial Services (FS) firms. Specifically, the project aims to examine the following objectives at an individual organisational level and in aggregate across the FS sector: • How financial capability is viewed and financial capability thinking and initiatives are governed within financial services businesses; • How financial capability is defined and measured; • What business case (if any) is made for improving the financial capability of customers; • How financial capability is supported within the organisation, whether this is through products, services or CSR funding, potentially through a 'foundation' or separate arm of the business.
