Tender description

The London Fire Commissioner is interested in the replacement of standard and extended duration telemetry based breathing apparatus provision with integrated communications. The London Fire Commissioner (LFC) is investigating the next requirement for Standard Duration Breathing Apparatus (SDBA), Extended Duration Breathing Apparatus (EDBA), Respirator capability, Telemetry, Entry control Boards, and communications. The LFC is primarily interested in procuring a Total Lifecycle Costed Provision — this effectively means that the LFC procures a fully costed performance based provision of RPE for the life of the equipment rather than procuring the kit separately and the component parts for maintenance separately. Our Protective Equipment Group would still undertake the maintenance but the provider would cost in the parts supply for the life of the equipment.
