Assisted Living Adaptations comprising bathroom conversions and associated minor works

Tender description

This tender is specifically for bathroom adaptations and associated minor works, which are a substantial element of assisted living adaptations. The works and services could be required to be carried out anywhere within the Council's geographical area to both its own housing stock and private residences, utilising Disabled Facility Grants. The majority of the work comprises replacing existing unsuitable bathing facilities with facilities recommended by Occupational Therapists. This usually consists of removing the existing Bathroom suite and forming a Wet Room. Occasionally it may be necessary to install shower cubicles, or even remove a shower and fit a bath.
