Brief Description of the Works The condition of the Quayside has deteriorated significantly over the last few years and this has made certain activities unsafe to be conducted under normal conditions. However, for operational purposes additional control measures have been put in place to prevent further deterioration and reduce incidents. The prevailing permanent ground conditions for the site area are stated to comprise of Made Ground over tidal flat deposits and river terrace deposits. All of the works are to be completed in line with the specification.
