The Energy Company Obligation (ECO)

Tender description

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is a carbon-saving target. The target is to reduce domestic carbon emissions or, in the case of fuel poverty, to make heating related energy bill savings. These can be achieved by installing energy efficiency measures such as insulation and heating improvements. Please note: there is a provider event scheduled in Bristol 11th April 2018. PLEASE NOTE: This tender is not for installation work or surveys. This tender is to secure ECO funding for Bristol City Council by procuring an obligated ECO funding partner who is looking to work with us to improve the efficiency of the city’s housing stock and encouraging the deployment of renewable energy measures on domestic homes. The Council has a dedicated ECO team which includes a funding manager and a funding support officer. We contract independent Technical Monitoring and Health and Safety Agents; this is part of a wider delivery team consisting of a further 8 staff that support the installation of ECO measures across BS postcodes. We are considering the option of CERO and HHCRO as two separate lots in the tender. Keywords: ECO, Energy
