University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) is one of the highest performing NHS Organisations in Europe with a proven international reputation for its quality of care, information technology, clinical education, training and research. The Trust is currently seeking to engage with potential suppliers/providers of Urology Consumables and/or devices as part of an initial market engagement exercise. The outcome and feedback from this exercise will determine the preferred procurement route. The procurement route chosen may involve a further competition against a public sector framework agreement or a full EU procurement exercise. The Trust intends to award business to several suppliers on a framework basis. This will include but is not restricted to the following product groups: — Urology Stents, — Stone Baskets, — Endoscopic Biopsy Forceps, — Guide wires, — Laser Fibres, — Occlusion Balloons, — Access Sheaths, — Ureteral Dilators, — Male/Female Incontinence Devices (including Artificial Urinary Sphincters, Slings), — 1 Penile Implants.
