Tender description
In North Tyneside the current homecare contract – Supporting People to Live at Home – is due to end in March 2019. We are beginning a round of consultation with various different stakeholders about the future of homecare, in preparation for our new homecare contract. We already have a list of topics that we would like to gain views on. This includes • The Council’s brokerage service • How the Council commissions individual packages • Incentives and penalties • Processes e.g. commissioning individual packages; holding a package; cancelling a package • Customer expectations • Homecare models that are working in other areas • How best to transfer from the old contract to the new contract Keywords: domicilliary, support, homecare
