Tender description

Warwickshire County Council have run a procurement exercise to replace its current ISDN and VOIP platform and in the process incorporate unified communications functionality. The most important requirement is enabling users to be contacted by multiple means while only publishing one number. This will support the Council's Smarter Working agenda where users can work flexibly and can choose how to be accessible, where and on which device. The Council used a Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Framework Agreement to carry out it procurement exercise, by running a Further Competition opportunity from Lot 5 "IP Telephony Services" of Framework Agreement RM1045 "Network Services". All Suppliers on the Lot were invited to participate in the opportunity to win a 4 year contract with an option of a 1 year extension.
