Tender description

Durham County Council are conducting a soft market exercise in order to identify potential solutions and suppliers within the market to provide a suitable provision to replace physical signatures and seals. The Council is looking to potentially adopt a piece of electronic software or alternative digital signatory approaches in order to expedite delivery cycles and improve efficiency and productivity during the procurement process. It is envisaged that the system would, in particular, be used to e-enable the process of recording formal decisions by officers, as well as being used for the signing of contract documents and other agreements with suppliers / contractors.
