Service and Maintenance of Public Clocks

Swale Borough Council is inviting Expressions of Interest to tender for servicing and Maintenance of Public clocks within Swale Borough. The contract will commence on Sunday, 01 July 2018. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the assets are maintained in a safe and effective way with minimum disruption. Each clock will be serviced annually, ensuring accuracy of timekeeping and chiming, with the first service to each clock to be completed within two months of the contract start date. The service is to include cleaning and lubrication of accessible parts as a minimum. In addition the service should include an electrical and wiring check where applicable and rectification of any minor problems that can be addressed during the visit.
