Tender description

St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. This will include the delivery of skips and containers to sites as requested, and to collect or exchange within the timescales or frequency detailed in the specification. There is also a requirement to collect and dispose of hazardous waste streams, and waste that needs to be segregated and disposed of safely and in accordance with legislation. The contract will cover the period from 1.4.2018 to 31.3.2020 with 2 options to extend for an additional 12 months (2 + 1 + 1). The maximum contract period will therefore be 4 years, from 1.4.2018 to 31.3.2022. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. This will include the delivery of enclosed and sealed skips and containers to St Leger Homes depot as requested for asbestos removed from properties. The Waste Management Operator(s) are to collect or exchange within the timescales or frequency detailed in the specification, and dispose of waste in accordance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Skips and containers are to be sited within the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. This will include the delivery of skips and containers to sites as requested for segregating cardboard and paper. The Waste Management Operator(s) will collect or exchange within the timescales or frequency detailed in the specification. Cardboard and paper is to be recycled by the Waste Management Operator(s).Skips and containers are to be sited within the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. White goods and other electrical items such as fridges, freezers, microwave ovens and TVs are to be disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Regulations 2013. Waste Management Operator(s) are required to make regular collections to remove these items from site and dispose of in accordance with legislation. Collections are to be made from the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. This will include the delivery of skips and containers to sites as requested for the segregation of mixed lamps, fluorescent tubes and cathodes, and to collect or exchange within the timescales or frequency detailed in the specification. Waste should be disposed of in accordance with the WEEE Regulations. Skips and containers are to be sited within the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. This will include the delivery containers to sites as requested for the segregation of batteries, and to collect or exchange within the timescales or frequency detailed in the specification. Waste should be disposed in accordance with Batteries and Accumulators and Waste Batteries and Accumulators Directive. Containers are to be sited within the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. Waste Management Operator(s) are required to make regular collections of gas bottles and to remove these items from site and dispose of in accordance with legislation. Collections are to be made from the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes of Doncaster require Waste Management Operator(s) to deliver waste management services. Waste Management Operator(s) are required to make regular collections of used and discarded tyres and to remove these items from site and dispose of in accordance with legislation. Waste Management Operator(s) are required to make weekly collections of waste from offices and other commercial premises, community centres and other buildings across the Borough of Doncaster. This includes general household waste and items for recycling such as aluminium cans and plastic bottles. Collections are to be made from within the Borough of Doncaster. St Leger Homes require the services of appropriate licensed waste tipping points for the disposal of green waste and inert waste from gardens and parks eg trees, plants etc produced by the Grounds Maintenance teams, and mixed waste relates to waste removed from empty and void properties by the Voids teams.
