Tender description

Provision of a Contract for the Supply of First Aid and Medical Kits and Vaccinations for FCO Posts Overseas. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has a requirement for the supply of vaccines, pharmaceutical, medical supplies to FCO clinics in Islamabad, Nairobi and New Delhi and the supply of first aid kits to all 270 FCO posts in 170 countries. All first aid kits should be BS8599 standard so they are complaint with the First Aid Act 1981. On occasion there may be a need to purchase Potassium Iodate supplies as determined by Department of Health policy. This will be an occasional requirement and not a regular purchase. The Contracting Authority intends to use an eTendering system in this procurement exercise and reserves the right to use a reverse auction. The contract will be used primarily by the FCO but will be open for other Government departments to use if required.
