Tender description

Gas Distribution Opertions (up to & including 7bar). The works will be on the low and medium pressure ranges (up to 75mbar and 2 bar respectively), Including intermediate pressure works (up to 7 bar): — the works will involve lay, test & commission of gas mains infrastructure up to and including 7 bar pressure, per range 32mm to 355mm dia. or steel equivalent (in the region of 250 km over 5 years), — lay, test & commission I&C and domestic services up to and including 7 bar pressure (up to 420 over 1 year), — install and commission of meters for I&C and domestic consumers, — install, test & commission pressure regulating equipment up to and including 7 bar pressure, with associated governor compound construction & regulator kiosk /housing installation, — provision of the emergency repair response service on SGN’s mains network 24/7; 365 days a year, to operate in the town of Strabane & rural locations within the licence area (including major escape management and emergency spares stock holding), — response to metering faults.
