Tender description

Tenders are invited for the supply of Design and Construction Services in respect of the provision of Project MUNIO. The specific Design and Construction Services required in respect of the delivery of Project MUNIO relate to the provision of: — Design of Flood Defences — Duration: July 2018 – March 2019. — Construction of Flood Defences — Duration: February 2019 – September 2019. — Landscaping Design and Landscaping Services — Duration: May 2019 – October 2019. Contract for the design and delivery of flood risk management solutions at a number of locations in and around Derby, more particularly described in the procurement documents. The form of contract to be used for this project shall be Option A of the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC). The initial contract period is 1 year and 4 months; the contract is estimated to commence 9.7.2018 and expire 14.10.2019. At the request of the Derby City Council, the contract can be extended in 3 monthly increments for a maximum of 1 year following the end date. Project MUNIO is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and has an estimated overall project value of circa. 6 000 000 EUR. A number of specific sites have been selected through a detailed Options Appraisal process for inclusion into the project. The project has been split into 2 work areas: 1. Civil Engineering Works (over 4 areas) 2. Site Specific Landscape Works Tenderers will be permitted the opportunity to visit the site. The site visit will be held at 29.3.2018 10:00. Tenderers are to confirm through the messaging function if they will be attending. Confirmation must be made a minimum of 48 hours before the date of the visit. Temporary site accommodation will need to be provided. Please note, suppliers wishing to express interest and obtain the documentation, must do so by 15:00 on 26.4.2018. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response. The deadline for returns is 14:00 on 27.4.2018.
