Tender description

The Framework will consist of reagent rental and/or purchases of analysers and reagents capable of accommodating tests for the screening of both Antenatal Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia and the measurement of Glycated Haemoglobin. Also for analysers and reagents capable of accommodating tests for the measurement of Glycated Haemoglobin only and Newborn Sickle Cell screening equipment, including analyser(s), reagents and associated products. The requirement is for an automated system offering detection of Sickle Cell Haemoglobin and other common Haemoglobin variants, using eluates from the newborn bloodspot card in those laboratories undertaking newborn bloodspot screening. The Framework will cover a range of reagent rental and/or purchases of analysers and reagents capable of accommodating tests for the screening of both Antenatal Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia and the measurement of Glycated Haemoglobin and for analysers and reagents capable of accommodating tests for the measurement of Glycated Haemoglobin only and Newborn sickle cell screening equipment and consumables.
