Tender description

Norfolk County Council is seeking to establish a framework of providers to enable the Highways Team to purchases highway building materials. Supplies potentially in scope are as follows: Kerbs and Slabs including Paving Flags, Kerbs and Path Edgings, Drainage including Manhole Components; Inspection Chambers; Couplings; Pipes and Fittings; Gully Pots; Drainage Units Carriageway Ironworks including Covers and Frames Pedestrian Fencing including Railings Special / Ancillaries. The initial framework agreement period will be for 3 years and at the Council’s discretion an additional 1 year, subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding. The supplies will be required to be delivered to various sites and depot in Norfolk or to be collected from you (as applicable). Under this lot we will require items such as cement and aggregates, PCC hydraulically pressed paving flags, kerbs and path edgings, PCC manhole components manufactured to provide resistance to class 4 sulphates, PCC household inspection chambers manufactured in OP cement, bricks, Bandseal Couplings, twinwall pipes and fittings, draining units, UPVC gully pots, Geotextiles, Polythene sheeting and cover and frames. Under this lot we will require galvanised visi rail and posts and pedestrian guard rails. Under this lot Norfolk County Council will require path edgings, railings, posts/bollards timber products and oil absorbant materials.
