SS17100 – Market Engagement Opportunity in relation to the supply of Interpreting Services for D/deaf and Deafblind People

Kent County Council’s Sensory and Autism Services team would like to engage with both suppliers and Language Service Professionals to understand the marketplace, and the range of service offerings, in relation to interpreting services for D/deaf and deafblind people. Information gathered through this market engagement will used to inform a commissioning strategy for the redesign of these services in Kent. Please find attached further details regarding the scope of the Council’s requirement in relation to these services, including the current demand in Kent for these services. Organisations and Language Service Professionals that are interested in participating in this market engagement exercise, should complete and email the relevant questionnaire attached to procuremnet.cli@kent.gov.uk by no later than 12:00 (midday) on Monday 16 April 2018. On receipt of a completed questionnaire, the Council may contact organisations or LSPs directly, and invite them to take part in further engagement discussions.
