Tender description

The Works will be carried out within the area of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and comprise, without limitation, a range of works required for implementation of traffic management schemes and other highway and environmental schemes including work in parks and open spaces as required by the Engineer throughout the whole of the Borough. The work includes: a) Taking up and laying of pre-cast concrete and natural paving stones, granite setts, granite kerbs, etc., drainage, electrical work, asphalt surfacing, road markings and street furniture. Some items, particularly York Stone, will be supplied by the Council for laying by the Contractor; b) Arranging for parking suspensions and notifying residents and businesses affected by the works.
