NML Estate Revaluation

Tender description

National Museums of Liverpool ("NML") require a desktop valuation of the land and buildings of their property assets as at 31 March 2018 to 31 March 2021 for inclusion in Financial Statements, using the Existing Use (EUV) and Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC) method in accordance with Government Financial Reporting Manual (FReM). The valuation should comply fully with the requirements of the RICS Valuation - Professional Standards 2014 ("Red Book") (Amended April 2015) published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. It should also refer to UKGN 7 Valuations for Charities for accounting periods on or after 1 January 2015 the new Charities SORPs, based on FRS 102. The requirements regarding qualifications, knowledge and skills should be met as set out in UK Practice Statement 1 and for independence and objectivity in Practice Statements 1.6 and 1.7 of the Red Book. The supplier must be an "external valuer" as defined in RICS Valuation - Professional Standards 2014 ("Red Book") issued by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
