NHS Tayside is seeking to establish a multispecialty surgical robotic service in 2019 which will deliver clinical operational activity and be a leading facility for robotics providing a high quality, cost effective clinical service for Tayside. In collaboration with the University of Dundee (under the Academic Health Science Partnership), the vision is to create a diagnostic, treatment and training centre which will provide potential suppliers the opportunity to develop a dynamic, evolving and strategically guided partnership in service development that will promote high-quality education, training, system design, research and innovation. NHS Tayside will consider a number of finance options including but not limited to capital purchase, lease and managed service. Potential providers are asked to register interest on the Public Contracts Scotland PIN notice. NHS Tayside intends to arrange a Supplier Day inviting all potential providers to a presentation on the vision for the NHS Tayside robotic service.
