Tender description

Supply, Delivery, Installation and Maintenance of a CNC 5 Axis Saw and Milling Machine. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission is looking to replace it's existing 2 Axis stone cutting machine with a CNC 5-Axis Machine. Located at it's offices in Beaurains, in a new purpose built facility which is due for completion during November 2018, the machine will be capable of cutting a variety of stone including, but not limited to, Portland, Euville, Massangie JC and B, Savoniere, and Chauvigny, up to a weight of approximately 800 kg. As well as delivery and installation, the successful tenderer will also be responsible for the maintenance and support of the machine for up to 5 years. Potential tenderers are not required to express an interest at this stage. A fully detailed specification will be issued with the Contract Notice at the end of April.
