Tender description

The HSE intends to run a tender process to establish a National Framework for Home Support Services for Older People in the near future, within weeks of the closing date of this market sounding (the “Tender”). See attached Market Sounding Document which outlines the HSE’s proposals for a new tender process, on a step by step basis, so that the marketplace can provide feedback in advance of the tender process. Responses must be returned to the eTenders tender box before 12:00 noon, 30.3.2018. The HSE intends to run a tender process to establish a National Framework for Home Support Services for Older People in the near future, within weeks of the closing date of this market sounding (the “Tender”). Home support services refers to those services previously known as “Enhanced Home Care services” or “Home Help services” and encompasses personal care services and essential household duties relating to the assessed needs of the client as determined by the HSE (the “Services”). In order to endeavour to deliver viable contracts in a new tender process, the HSE has determined that contacting the marketplace in advance to inform it of the proposed approach, and to seek feedback, could be of significant benefit to all parties concerned.
